Ultraviolet Introduces High-intensity Device
for Small-area
Curing

American Ultraviolet Company has added a new member
to its family of spot-curing units. Designed to meet the needs
of digital ink
jet printers
and others who cure inks on small items such as bottles and
miniature devices, as well as small substrates, the Mighty Spot
provides
400 Watts of broad band UV energy with a 1 1/4" arc length.
Among the Mighty Spot’s standard features are a lightweight
lamp head assembly, elapsed-time indicator, rear ventilation protection,
compact size, green “lamp on” indicator light, multi-voltage
transformer and availability as focused or non-focused source.
Optional
features include infrared quartz filters and dichroic coated reflector
liners.
