American Ultraviolet Company's UV germicidal systems for maintaining indoor air quality (IAQ) can be installed in doorways to prevent movement of contaminants from space to space. They are also available as surface-mounted, recessed or mobile units for use in individual rooms. All these UVC emitters provide radiation that is 99.97% effective against airborne bacteria, viruses, fungi and mold spores.
Closed End
In
10 models with lamp configurations of one to four, these fixtures
direct and confine the ultraviolet rays to specific areas.
They are designed for use over conveyor lines, laboratory
benches or with adjustable legs for product sterilization.
Lamp lengths of 4, 6, 8, 12, 18 and 36 inches are available
with germicidal and/or blacklight ultraviolet
Door Barrier
Style: DB-36
By creating a curtain of germicidal ultraviolet rays, this
fixture provides effective control of airborne microorganisms
between areas. It confines the germicidal energy to a narrow
beam, providing full coverage of a three-foot doorway; larger
openings require multiple fixtures. The ultraviolet lamp is
positioned behind concentrating louvers for maximum energy
and personnel safety.
Surface Mount
Models SM-30-C, SM-30-CGR
and SM-30-2C
The dust-free design of these fixtures ensures a lifetime
of dependability and contemporary appearance. They have specular
aluminum reflectors for maximum ultraviolet efficiency. Surface-mounted
fixtures are available in 10 models with one or two lamps,
as well as various lengths. Optional aluminum guard rails
protect the UV lamp from breakage in congested areas. Designed
for hospitals, laboratories and clean room applications.
Mobile Room Sterilizer
Model MRS3684P
This portable eight-lamp ultraviolet fixture features a time-delay
and 24-hour timer for total room irradiation. It is designed
for operating rooms, sterile areas, laboratories, unoccupied
patient rooms, clean rooms and all other applications where
permanent fixtures are not practical. Each unit is equipped
with casters for maximum portability.
Recessed Troffer
Model RT-36-4G
These germicidal ultraviolet fixtures are constructed of
die-formed, one-piece steel and highly reflective aluminum.
They are manufactured to meet hospital, pharmaceutical, clean
room and laboratory ultraviolet requirements. Two models are
available, with four germicidal lamps or a germicidal/illuminating
combination using fluorescent and germicidal lamps.
The Type E Recessed Troffer is for exposed grid ceilings,
Type M for plastic ceilings.
