Sapphire™ UV Germicidal Residential Air Purification System

American Ultraviolet’s High Output Sapphire Series germicidal fixtures are designed specifically for residential and light commercial coil and duct treatment.  The dual lamp design allows greater coverage from a single unit than the traditional 1-lamp design.

Applications
Sapphire series fixtures are installed on the exterior of residential and light commercial HVAC systems to irradiate coils and air flows within ducting.  The Sapphire design enables lamps to be changed without removing the fixture from its mounting point on the outside of the system.  This greatly reduces incidences of broken lamps during the replacement process.  With the standard units running off 120V, the Sapphire series simply plugs into a standard household outlet for simple installation and setup.

The Sapphire series offers lamp lengths of 14”, 16”, 20” and 24” to cover a wide range of HVAC sizes and applications.  Sapphire Series fixtures use American Ultraviolet’s high-output, long-life lamps to provide the highest UVC dosage for the longest possible lamp life.  “Lamp-out” indication is a standard feature and will provide a visual indication as to whether or not the lamp is functioning properly.

American Ultraviolet Sapphire Series lamps are high-output (800mA), T5 diameter, and constructed of hard glass tubing for superior UV transmittance. Lamps provided with this series produce no ozone and retain, at a minimum, 80% of initial output at end of rated lamp life.

Although supplied with a 3-prong plug for 120V/60Hz residential and commercial use, the Sapphire uses an advanced electronic ballast that can be operated at 120, 208, 230 or 277VAC at 50 or 60Hz.
