HVAC Product Overview

American Ultraviolet offers several products specifically designed for the HVAC industry. We offer equipment for both In Duct and On Coil applications. All of our fixtures are available in multiple voltages and frequencies for hassle-free worldwide operation.

Sapphire Series

Designed for use in residential and light commercial installations, the Sapphire can be used for both coil and air stream disinfection. This high output UVC fixture is offered in one and two lamp configuration in lengths of 14, 16 and 24 inches to fit a variety of airflow rates and coil and duct configurations. One fixture in the return air duct and one on the coil will provide adequate sterilization in the average home.

ACP Series

The ACP series is designed for use in commercial and industrial applications to sterilize airflow inside the ducting of the HVAC system. These fixtures incorporate a lamp support designed to handle the greater air velocities found in commercial and industrial applications. Available in lengths of 12, 16, 24, 36, and 48 inches, in 1, 2, 3 or 4 lamp configurations to suit a variety of in-duct applications. The High Output ACP series offers twice the germicidal protection of comparable “standard output” units without taking up any more space. American Ultraviolet Company can recommend the ideal layout of ACP fixtures to provide a 99% one-pass kill of airborne microorganisms.

UFHO Series

A High Output version of the Utility Fixtures that American Ultraviolet Company has been offering for 45 years, these fixtures are ideally suited for coil irradiation. With available lengths from 19 to 65”, American Ultraviolet Company can specify the proper arrangement of fixtures to fully irradiate the surface of just about any coil. UFHO fixtures are available with one or two High Output germicidal ultraviolet lamps and optional moisture-resistant construction (ideal for humid and moist HVAC environments).

The Eliminator

The most versatile unit offered by American Ultraviolet to date, the Eliminator operates up to 6 High Output UV lamps (up to 24” in length) from a single power supply enclosure. The lamps are provided with leads up to 12 feet long for versatility in placement within the HVAC system. This unit can be used to place lamps to irradiate the coil and the air stream all with one convenient power center instead of several different enclosures with individual power cords that all require an outlet.

Custom Rack Systems

Although American Ultraviolet offers a vast array of standard products to fit most applications, custom applications are not uncommon nor are they a problem. American Ultraviolet is a true manufacturer and, thus, offers fully customizable “Rack systems” for both In Duct and On Coil applications.

Shatterproof Lamps

In order to provide an additional level of safety, American Ultraviolet offers uv emitting heat shrinkable tubing, “shatterproof” lamps. These lamps will, when broken, retain all fragments of quartz and mercury within the uv resistant coated sleeve and maintain the sterility of the HVAC environment. American Ultraviolet offers this option for all of our lamps.
